Bike Set Up

Proper bike set-up is essential for a comfortable and effective ride during your spin class. Follow these guidelines to ensure that your bike is adjusted correctly:

  1. Seat height - Adjust the seat height so that it aligns with your hip. When seated on the bike, your knees should have a slight bend at the knees when the pedal is at the lowest position. Avoid setting the seat too low or too high, as it can lead to discomfort and improper form.

  2. Handlebar position - Position the handlebars so that they are within comfortable reach. Your elbows should have a slight when gripping the handlebars, and your shoulders should be relaxed. Avoid fully extending your arms or straining to reach the handlebars.

  3. Back position - Pay attention to your back position during the ride. Maintain a straight and neutral spine, engaging your core muscles for stability. Avoid excessive arching of the back as it can lead to discomfort or strain.

Safety Guidelines

Your safety is our top priority during spin classes. Please follow these important guidelines to ensure a safe and injury-free experience:

1. Warm-Up and Cool-Down: Always begin your spin class with a proper warm-up to prepare your muscles and cardiovascular system for the workout. Similarly, cool down at the end of the class to gradually bring your heart rate back to normal. These steps help prevent injuries and promote recovery.

2. Hydration: Stay hydrated throughout the class by bringing a water bottle and taking regular sips during breaks or as needed. Proper hydration is essential for optimal performance and to avoid dehydration.

3. Adjusting Resistance: Gradually increase or decrease the resistance on your spin bike according to your fitness level and the instructor's guidance. Avoid sudden or extreme changes in resistance, as they can strain your muscles or cause loss of control

5. Listening to Your Body: Pay attention to your body's signals during the class. If you experience any pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort, slow down or take a break. It's important to listen to your body and not push beyond your limits.
